Xenarc 1020tsv auto on and off???

I would like my touch screen to turn on and off with the power of my carnetix p1900. In addition to this I would still like it to be turned off while driving if needed. I do not see an auto on feature in any of the literature I have from Xenarc and couldnt find anything by searching the forums. Is there any way I can mod this?

Most models do not have that option. You need to take the unit apart and find the connector for the power button and put in a capacitor. This will allow the unit to turn on as soon as your p1900 provides 2ndary output of 12V to your monitor. As far as being able to turn off the monitor, you can just hit the off button and that will turn it off.
