I want my carputer to play mp3, dvd, divx or other video-stuff using a tft lcd display therefore I want to know what specifications like resolution, size etc. it should have!!
I want it to fit in my double din-sized space in my car whitout any big modifications!

Maybe I can use a ps-screen or is it to bad!
Or I've also senn this a display which is sold by a local store in the net!

I've also forgot to mention that I'm going to use a ATI All-In-Wonder PCI with 16MB and tv-out!

if your using TV-Out then your expected res cant be much better than 800x600 and with typical TFT car monitors thats more like 320x200..... not to say its bad, that what I am running... if your only wanting mp3/divX then u should be fine...

if u need a higher res, your gonna need to go for a VGA screen....

Am i right with 306€ for the TFT you mentionned ? Why not buy a cheaper on on ebay ? www.ebay.de search for TFT klick Auto&navigation on the left - U'll get for approx 189€ ++
