A buzz sound?

Ok, I have two lcd controlers, one is physicaly damaged (its missing this round coper coil thing) but it works! Since my ribbon cable is damaged and I'm awaiting a new one from DWW, I can't tell if its still able to work or not. The other board is kinda weird, it plugs up to the screen, but the 619 buttons wont plug up to it. this board has a different plug for the buttons. this board when pluged up hasn't turned the screen on automaticly or anything I can see... I just now thought that it might be the fuse so I bypassed it with a wire and boom! the backlight of the screen lights up. BUT there is a buzzing sound. A high pitched buzzing sound. is this bad for the screen?
