anyone know if those indash motorized monitors are any good? anyone happen to know if there is one that exists that also has a cd player built into it besides just a radio?

Motorized units will eventually burn out the motor and become not-so motorized. And by CD Player, do you mean something independant or dependant of the CarPC. If independant, then I think I have seen one on eBay last March when I was shopping for a screen. If you are talking dependant, then only the double din DWW-650 has it.


Fab it into your dash, and you'll be far happier.

well i have an 04 mustang that came stock with a double din radio. i have the computer setup with a 7" touchscreen for a while now but i dont like the fact that it is out in plain view and i dont like not having a cd player or radio for days where i dont feel like turning on the computer. so i was going to get one of those motorized screens and a reg. aftermarket cd player and stick both of them into the doubledin slots...i was just hoping maybe there was a unit that combined both in some way.
