Lilliput monitor not turning on!

hey there,

got a 2 din housing Lilliput monitor from digital ww

it wont turn on!
the led doesnt turn on

i do press the power button and even tried the remote

i checked the power comin to the board and it is getting 12v (11.96)

i found this in the FAQ:
"if you have no power going to your lilliput (eg led doesn't even light up)
either the eggs is screwed up, power it from your power supply; or the smaller ribbon cable is not aligned correctly, it needs to be positioned all the way to the right if the screen is facing up."

but i am not sure what to check !!!

any help or ideas would be great

What double-DIN screen did you get? The DWW-6500 or the WRX-001A?

Search the forums for the ribbon cable issue. I believe it needs to be inserted all the way to one side of the connector. PEople have writted about it many times over, and included pictures to help you along.

i got the wrx-001A

i tried to move the ribbon cable and nothing changed!

i only unplugged it from the control board (the one with the ir receiver) put it to the power button side and it still not doing anything!!

but u know its only him at digitalww so it takes him a good amount of time to reply....
