Anyone who owns K90 in-dash tft?
what resolution you use? My experience from 800x480 is futile with this one.. Picture is scaled and text look horrible. Any tips?

Why 800x600 ? why not 800x480? it's native resolution do you have a certain reason for that, i decided to buy this k90 because it has 800x480 as native resolution, other display xenarc 700tsv displays that resolution correctly.

yes because its a total pain to get my mobo to use 800x480 and not worth the effort. Loads of people use the same on all sorts of screens for the same reason. The screen might be native but not many boards are. There was quite a few people flashed their via bios to get 800x480 to work but still weren't happy so kept on using 800x600.

Yes but i have no problems to put 800x480 resolution to the display from the display adapter, only problem is the display what doesn't report windows no more that (General display) so advanced tuning have to make by had..
with using the 800x600 the picture was fine from side to side, pixels in vertical was scaled. Same thing at 640x480 the 480 pixels in this resolution seems to be fine, i have combined both resolutions timing settings (not in currect picture, just a example)
i can't just get a decent 800x480 even if i switch polarity and use powerstrip, but i you don't use that resolution yourself or haven't success you might use that 800x600. I think that is quiting, i have certain rights as a customer when i buy something and if product doesn't work the way shop/seller has described i think thats hoaxing.
(K301 and K90 might have same tft panel) only one input more in K301 (2 av input + reverse av)

your using a bit of software to hack your resolution your not supporting the resolution natively. Do what you want and keep messing around and saying everything is junk if you want or use a skin that looks right with what you have and enjoy driving your car. I have a standalone hardware dvd player and I can assure you these screens support that resolution perfectly so its not the screen. Its VIA you want to have a go at and not the screen or screen seller.

Okay, first of all you assume i have that epia M1000? Yeah, it read at my signature but i last updated it few years ago, i have it in another setup, it has gf5200 in pci riser card and it's connected to that xenarc 700TSV. Here's howto to get 800x480 with 700TSV no problems with that one.
I have another carpc setup, mobo with geforce 6100 integrated, and if you noticed that advanced display timing window had a nvidia logo in top left. There is no way i will accept to use that s3 unichrome, i have readed all of those custom bios m1000 and 800x480 works! should i email to the mythbusters? But this 800x480 comes out from the display adapter, if i connect xenarc to it works just fine.
Have you heard about display modelines or EDID data try moninfo.exe from entech taiwan you should see info about your monitor, and suggested display resolution like this.. (this is from laptop)

Hey.. is there some information missing from that last part.. some timing information like for example.. I have tried to calculate correct modeline for that K90 with values that is specified in manual v-sync and h-sync min/max etc, but that picture looks like crap.
Tried to , tried email manufacturer and reseller, but they won't respond.
*edit*
here is link to distorbed image, is that text readable?
