forcing 800 x 480

there was was an app up here ages that ago that allowed you to type in different screen resolutions, that didn't show up in the the windows settings

anyone know

i searched but there is 1 000 000 topics on 800x480

Yeah, powerstrip is another way to get it. If you have nvidia card gf5200 pci or something else then you have it on display drivers options.

Imo geforce is nice anyway

I've actually been struggling with Powerstrip and the geforce 5200 + 700tsv all day... so I can just uninstall powerstrip? heh

I had to apply some special settings in my geforce advanced settings to get it to work on my 700tsv.

The example shows powerstrip, but the advanced settings for nvidia have the same stuff, and it worked great on mine.
