How reliable is Xenarc 700IDT

Hi,

i'm looking to buy a Xenarc 700IDT. From the picture, they look rock solid and very reliable.

I just want some opinions of users of this product. What are your experiences.

Also is the screen fairly ok in the sun?

it is semi motorised, what does this mean?

It means that it doesn't use a motor, rather a spring loaded mechanism to eject the screen. Still best to guide it out with your hand though.

is it a good screen? do you have one? i'm thinking about purchasing one but need to find out a bit more on it before i spend $400 + dollars

Don't have one myself, but I do know that many people who buy a Xenarc once, will buy a Xenarc again. They're known for the quality and reliability. Plus the fact that they support multi-monitor-touchscreen systems with their own drivers, rather than having to find a separate program to manage it.
