What is the best 8" LCD display

I have read a number of posts listing the pros and cons of different LCD displays. However, i have not found anyone saying they support one brand over the other.

I am looking for a good 8" LCD. What would you guys recommend?

If you don't consider price, in terms of raw quality -> MP3Car's Transflective 8" screen

The best? what's the best in my eyes might not be the best in your eyes.

Any time anyone says one is the best, especially when they give nothing to back up their comment, it's really hard to put any weight on it.

Does that person have experience with every other screen out there or just that one?

I've used the Xenarc for the past 2 years or so and never had a problem. I now have a 8" Trans sitting here waiting to go in in the next few weeks. I'll be able to compare the two directly then....but it's still not inclusive of all of them out there.

I have to ask what the OP is looking for? Price? Functionality? Viewability? etc?

Price is not a huge concern. My biggest thing is View ability. I am placing the display on the upper Bezel of a 04 Suburban. I will not be getting a lot of direct light, and i would like the viewing angle to be decent.

This is my first Carputer install, and I am trying to research each of my purchases. The screen install for this portion is the most important because of the amount of fabrication time. So... i want to make sure i am fabricating an LCD that i will be happy with.

If you can afford the $$ for the 8" Trans here on the store...go for it.
