Xenarc 700tsv and cnx-p1900

I have the 700tsv and the carnetix p1900 v2.2 I would like to wire my screen to the PSU using the cig adapter. My question is, do I just cut off the part the goes into the cig ligher, and then will there be a positive and negative wire? Or is it more complicated than that? I searched before I posted but couldn't find and answer. Any tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Pistolen08 is on a distinguished road
Use the 12V output from the p1900 and hook up the + and - from the cig lighter wires respectivly. (so yes, cut off the cig. adapter and hook up the wires. make sure they are the correct polarity though)
