I recently purchased a new Xenarc 700TSV for my scion tc. I have disassembled the LCD, and have tried every way I could think of to get it to fit into the double DIN area for the tc head unit, but i can't get it. I took it to an audio shop who does this kind of thing all the time, but they could not do the project, as the actual LCD, even when disassembled, does not fit.

I have seen the lilliputs installed in the tc, and have heard of xenarc installs, so I'm just not sure what they did differently, but its not working for me.

Now, I am looking for other options.
1. Sell the Xenarc 700TSV, purchase another one that fits.
2. Find another way to make it fit.
3. Mount the screen elsewhere.
4. Throw out the carputer idea.

Any options i'm missing?
I am completely open for suggestions.

Pictures of the LCD, or the car, or both?

Here is a picture of the car - the LCD will be installed behind the radio cover, which slides up to show the double DIN area.

What do you mean it does NOT fit? In what way? It will take some fab work im sure and cutting of your factory piece to make it work.

Nothing on here is plug n play. Where are pics of the screen not fitting in your space? And not ZIP files.. just post links to the pics is fine.. please
