Xenarc 700IDT problem with Intel MacMini?

Hi all,
I seem to have encountered a strange problem with a
Xenarc 700IDT 7" VGA In-Dash Monitor and a Mac Mini Intel.
After about 5 minutes, the touchscreen stops working
If I reboot I get another 5 mins of working touchscreen

Anyone encounter this?

I have two mac mini's -- a Power PC mac mini and a Intel Mac mini
When I use the PPC mini I do NOT have the problem, but when I use the
Intel unit I do, The differences in the USB is the PPC is 1.0 USB and the Intel
is 2.0 - USB cables have a max length of 15' I am using:

Which is 16.4 feet.

I am wondering if maybe the problem is that I am JUST at the threshold and
that the increased speed of USB 2 is causing the problem.

I am going to slice open the cable and shorten the length of the USB
I have the shorter cable which I am disecting.

Here is what my investigation has shown so far

Ground
Black
White
Red (5v) is not used

Blue is VID 2 ground
gray is VID 2 Positive

Green is VID 1 Ground
Purple is VID 1 Positive

There is a 2 wire black wire (thicker then the rest) That is Audio In
(an unused cable on the 700IDT)

Xenarc uses 3 wires for there USB

Anyone ever color code (or have a wiring diagram for the whole cable)
they can upload or email me?

I want to go in there fully armed before I slice into my harness

Well Xenarc has come thru in a big way and emailed me the cable pinouts

Nope didnt work. rewiring the USB to a local hub, didnt work.
Oh and the Cable Chart they give is wrong -- Black/white is Black on the
cable...

Now I gotta come up with another solution
(and I think its gonna be a MAJOR job..)
