i have a 619gl-70np lilliput touch screen monitor i was doing an install and the touch controller stopped working every now and then i will here that beep telling me that i have pressed down on the controller but thats all.

if anyone has had any kind of the trouble please feel free to post anything thing could be helpful!

Does it go to the bottom left or bottom right of the screen?

Does it work but not accurately?

Have you opened it up?

Check the edges of the scren to make sure they aren't pinching the edges of the touchkit.

And rather than saying "Everyone respond to my problem!", wouldn't it be more efficient to look for similar issues and see what similar issues others have had?

i have clean the surface ofthe panel nothing is pinching have also taking the panel off and tried running it that way nothing, if i press on it multiple times i get the press or when im double clicking i get the beep but no response. im thinking this may be a back touch panel itself.

2k1Toaster im not sure what you u asking aobut bottom left or right of the screen, all i get is that the cursor goes the far left of the screen. and it doesnt really work at all it just get the beep sound that tells me that i have pressed down on the screen. and yes i have open it up.

or sorry for asking for everyone's help i have read the forums and my results have came up negative so sorry if the maybe repost

So when you push it, the cursor moves to the left. All the time, not matter what?

And when you took it apart, did you mess with the TS? Like remove the cable that connects it, or maybe install the TS upside down?

Are there any cracks or blemishes on the TS surface anywhere?

It sounds like a bad TS. If it is under warranty, RMA it. Else, you can buy new ones on eBay or digitalww.

yes i removed the cable, would i be able to RMA just the TS itself also after i looked it more closely i found that there is a small scratch on the TS itself and that is the exact location at where the cursor goes everytime. so it is probable a bad TS

If you have opened it up, then the warranty is void. Unless you kept that shiny gold sticker intact.

I will probably cost you as much in shipping your whole unit back and forth as buying a new touchscreen.

I just (this week) replaced my touchscreen overlay because I cracked mine. I bought from this guy on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...1257&rd=1&rd=1

It was $36 plus $10 shipping and the shipping was 2day priority with USPS.

And digitalww.com is out of stock currently. Other than that, I don't know where you can buy them.
