Thanks, bambam. I thought I'd add some more information to that:
The screen itself is about 7/16" thick, and there's a third cable that comes out of the back toward the left side.
You'll need additional depth behind the screen for the main printed circuit board (5-3/8" x 8-3/4") unless you plan to extend the cables. Allow well over an inch of thickness for the board plus standoffs, and remember that there are cables coming off the top and bottom of the PCB, and a very flat one that mounts to the back of it. My 1/4" standoffs are the bare minimum.
There's a second very small PCB (2-3/4" x 1") for the touchscreen; it's mounted with double-sided foam. Overall thickness is probably about 3/8".
I tried designing a mount for this before I got it, but I was way, way off because I had no idea about the layout required by cable connections, how to attach it, or even how big the components were. Once I got it out of its case, the path to a decent mount was much clearer.
