Power Supplies

This is kinda hardware but I figured you guys would be in the know.

Is there a car pc style PSU out there that has monitoring software for Linux? Something like the P2140 or DS-ATX but Linux friendly?

Sure, it's not a must have kinda thing but if there is something out there...

TIA

What kind of monitoring? Car battery monitoring? or PSU voltages monitoring?

The DSATX requires just a connection to a serial port.
You can easily write a parser for the output.

You could have it draw status information from the data stream or query any of the variables at will.

All you need to monitor and/or configure the DSATX is the brainstem and a terminal to read the output from a COM port...

I KNOW linux has a terminal emulator.
