List of OBD2/OBDII software that works on Linux, native or with Wine

What are all the OBD2 programs that are known to work in Linux? The ones I know of are freediag and nghost. Will Carman work on a Linux laptop or only a Nokia tablet? Are there any good Windows ones that run on Wine?

^^^^ silly moderators ^^^^

Anyways, to add to the list:

Native:
Jdash - Native Linux - kinda works for subarus
Carman - Linux Maemo - sounds like it works well, too bad not for us.
Magden - Linux based, but sold with hardware.

WINE
Tuner Pro - Opens in WINE - (wine lacks USB support)
Zietronix - Opens in WINE then crashs.
EcuFlash - Opens in WINE (wine lacks USB support)
EvoScan - Fails to load in WINE, even with Winetricks + dotnetfx 2.0

Windows Based, but untested in WINE:
LearningView [Merchgod / romraider.com] - realtime display of Subaru learning parameters
EcuExplorer [Calvin Cestari / tari.co.za] - logs from almost all modern Subarus
MitsuLogger [MalibuJack] - logs from Mitsubishis
EvoScan [Hamish Ahern] - logs from Mitsubishs and Subarus (not free)
RomRaider [Jared / romraider.com] - logs from Subarus
LogWorks 2.0 [Innovate Motorsports] - logs from Innovate WBO2 and other sensors - now has EcuFlash support

Python based OBDII app

There is nice open source python based application that could be easily used in linux.
http://www.cs.unm.edu/~donour/cars/pyobd/
I think it was originally written for Mac, so I had to change it to make it work on my Ubuntu laptop. I also changed the port to /dev/ttyUSB0 since I am using a USB device for communication (obddiag.net). The archive contains the script with my changes. I was able to read the DTC and display some sensor data for my Tercel.
Attached Files
File Type: tar pyobd.tar (150.0 KB, 23 views)

Hahahah "claims". I've probably done 75% of its development under Linux :-)

I have only messed with ODB2 stuff a small amount and tested little- just accessport stuff.

But a note: USB support under wine DOES work just fine with a small amount of manual config: creation of a symlink in ~.wine/dosdevices/yournamehere

This does NOT mean the Windows software will work however: some windows USB devices use a USB software stack that does not work in linux yet, and apparently is difficult to reverse engineer.

My Cobb Accessport is one of these devices so I have to run a virtual machine (VirtualBox) to use Accessport Manager or Tuner.

Added: TouchScan
Trial Version: http://www.obdsoftware.net/TrialVersion.aspx
Native: Windows
Wine: with dotnet 1.0 and 2.0 (through winetrix)

notes: installs successfully, will not open.

Errors: An error has occurred causing this application to terminate. Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
