I haven't tried it yet, but I emailed them back in December because I had heard that they were going to release a version with US maps. They said it would be ouyt in February, I think, but I haven't seen it. I'm going to email them again now and see what the update is.

I just received a reply from these guys about their US version. I wrote:
"I emailed you back in November or December because I had heard that a
version of your Navigator 4 software was going to be released with US
map support. I was told that this is in the works, and might be released
in February (or was it March?). I'm just curious what the status of this
is. Thanks!"
Their reply:
"Small delay of about 8 weeks."
So that's promising. I'm still in the hardware-install phase of my project, and I'm having issues with my GPS hardware anyway, so I can afford to wait a bit for it. I'm really hoping it pans out though!

I download the demo from their website, and installed it on my desktop. I wish I were in Luxemburg, because that's the only map that it comes with, so it was sorta impossible to actually take it for a spin.
From first glance it does not seem so touch screen friendly, but I may actually throw down some money for the package when they release it with US maps. When I emailed them yesterday they said US maps would be out "soon".

FYI, I just emailed them tonight about US maps, and got a reply very quickly saying 'sometime in summer'. For you people in other countries, it can't hurt to email them and ask for your other maps...it will at least give them a sense that there will be at least some market for the work they do...
