MS Text to Speech using Wine

I tried installing the 5.1 SDK and had no love. Wouldn't install saying it was missing SAPI 5.

So I searched my HDD and found an old 4.x version. Works like a champ in case anyone's been looking for a decent TTS engine.

Funny to see "Microsoft Mouth" running under X pronouncing that "Bill Gates sucks horse penis."

Curious why you didn't use festival ? Works great for me, and it's native so there is far less overhead.

I do have festival installed, maybe I haven't configured an add-on correctly or something, but I'd rather the car sound more StarTrek-ish and less Stephen Hawkings.

Am I missing something?
