Ok, I wanted to start a new thread because
this one was getting long, and off the original topic.
In case you weren't following, here is the quick recap:
iGuidance v.3 works PERFECTLY with crossover office v.6 (which is now out). I have this launching from Myth, but want to be able to listen to music at the same time. Thanks to feedback in the above thread, I have a perfect solution (at least for me).
First I compiled and installed
wmctrl and
bbbutton. Then I made a script which uses wmctrl to toggle between virtual desktops 1 & 2 (0&1 actually). Then I made it so when I launch iGuidance from myth, it switches to the second desktop, and backgrounds a script that launches a bbbutton dockapp, and iGuidance. The dockapp displays a little "switch" icon, and executes my desktop switching script.
At this point, Myth is on desktop 1, and iGuidance is running on desktop 2. The dockapp displays an icon in the corner, touching it on my touchscreen toggles between myth and iGuidance. Now I can switch to Myth, and start up some mp3s!!!!
After doing this, I learned something new as well - and this is the most kick *** part of all:
When iGuidance has to give a voice direction, it lowers (not mutes) the music enough for you to hear the prompt, then return music to original volume after speaking. This is just awesome because listening to loud music (which I dooften

) does not blow out your ears when gps prompts you. Ok, ok, so this is prolly something everyone using iGuidance already knew, but hey, I've never used the software in Windows
I recorded a crappy little video to show off how well it works:

I will be updating my
software walkthrough with details, and the exact scripts I'm using.
