How to retreive deleted .kext files?

Hey Guys,

I was running VPC and PC Navigator 6 in Tiny XP, but it kept crashing so deleted all associated files and folders. But i also (in my ignorance) deleted a USB serial driver (kext file) in the library/extension folder. Now OSX will not see my GPS receiver.

I've tried downloading the driver from Globalsat but it no work.

What have i done? Is it repairable?

Ive got OSX 10.4 and running a G4 PPCC.

Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Nick

Hi

I have the BU-353. It worked fine before with Routebuddy and GPS Utility. But after using VPC, OSX had trouble finding it.

does their site have a drivers download section? should just be able to reinstall it, or you might have to do a drivers install off of windows.
