My mac won't power on
I wired up my p1900 and the mac mini and my flip out lilliput. I turned the car on and the mac mini came on but when I turned it off and back on againthe mac stayed off. I set all my jumpers right. so I read through the directions again and found what I thought was my problem. The directions said the red wire was to the battery and the yellow wire was to the ign. So I rewired it and went to start my car and blew 3 fuses. I brought the mac mini inside and turned it on it started to come on then turned right off, again the same thing. Then the third time it didn't do anything. I took out the splitter and wired it back up factory and still nothing . Any ideas what this would be? Thanks

I think there is some time you have to allow when you shut off the car then turn it back on again. If you cycled too quickly, the P1900 might still be in lockout and power off mode.
As for blowing 3 fuses, well, that obviously wasn't right! It sounds like you've damaged the Mini. When you say you brought it back inside, did you hook it up to the wall outlet using the Mac power brick, or did you use the P1900?

I fix them all day under Applecare, as long as you registered the computer, or the Applecare if you bought it, then they can look it up by serial number.
If the problem is MacMini, they will replace the logic board, so I would suggest de-authorizing your iTunes account first (if you have one).

Yeap, mine went in twice for AppleCare (bad DVD drive and bad HDD). I just took the Y cable out before taking it in and chose not to mention how it is used
No problems either time.

i left the y cable in and took it in twice, once for the logic board / video card, and once for the bluetooth antenna.

Yeah I already took the y cable out and I went to take it to the apple store yesterday and waited inline for like 10 minutes upfront then the girl told me to go to the genius bar waited inline there for 20 minutes and then when it was my turn the guy totally ignored me and started calling out names from the computer. I was ****ed but instead of making a scene I just made a appointment for the next day which is today in 6 hours. So hopefully I won't have any problems.

You can only authorize 5 computers at a time. It's based off some hash file the computer makes from all the hardware, kinda like the windows xp thing. If they replace any parts or the os, the hash file is different. You can deauthorize all the computers once a year without having to call Apple. If you just deauthorize the computer before sending it in, if you can, then it just removes the hash file off the iTunes server and you'll be able to reauthorize it when you get it back.
