Internet phone connect problemo

is there anyway for "terminal" to automatically input the command so i can connect to the internet automatically? here's my problem:

Setting up the connection

On the PC, click the Apple icon, then click System Preferences.
Click Network.
Click the drop down for Location, then click New Location.
Type ATT Data for the name, then click OK.
On the TCP/IP tab, click on the drop down for Configure IPv4, then click on Using PPP.
Click the PPP tab.
Type ISP@CINGULARGPRS.COM in the Account Name field.
Type CINGULAR1 in the Password field.
Ensure that the Telephone Number is *99#.
Click PPP Options.
Uncheck the option for Send PPP echo packets.
Check Use TCP header compression and Connect using a terminal window.
Click OK.
Click the Bluetooth Modem tab.
Ensure that the Modem is Null Modem 115200.
Untick the options for Wait for dial tone, then click Apply Now.
From the menu bar, click the Phone icon and then click Bluetooth.

---ok so i got all that----
now this part is the annoying part tha i havet to deal with everytime.

Making the connection

On the PC, click on the Phone icon, then click Connect.
When the Terminal window appears, type in at+cgdcont=1,"IP","isp.cingular" and press the return key.
Type in atdt*99# and then press the return key.
Click Continue
.
You will now be connected to the AT&T data service

is there any way to have terminal do this automatically??

What type of phone do you have?

I know my wife didn't have to do anything with her Treo 650 was setup.

It sounds like instead of using the Null Modem profile, you need to use a profile that is compatible with your phone (the profiles are what send the AT commands to the "modem").

Probably. I don't know where that stuff is stored, but i'm sure a simple search will find the answer. You might also try some other Moto phone scripts (RAZR, SLVR, etc..) and see if any of them work for you.

Looks like if you have the Developer Tools installed, there are some example scripts in /Developer/Extras/Modem Scripts. There doesn't appear to be much (outside of the notes in the files, but that doesn't give much detail) documentation though. Maybe there is info on developer.apple.com about how to create your own script.
