Front Row with touchscreen?

I've searched the forum for a bit but can't find a direct answer - those of you using touch screens, do they work Front Row directly or do you have to use the remote?

You either have to use a keyboard, the AppleRemote, or do a search for FrontRowRemote which will let you use the touch screen to control it.

there was this program that allowed to use front row with a touch screen. However it dosnt work in leopard. Its called FRRemote, or something like that.

It worked quite well, but sometimes it would snag.

Ahh, thanks, I was afraid of that...

I guess I'll try that software and consider pulling the IR and mounting it in the dash somewhere.

Check out Remote Buddy here:

http://www.iospirit.com/index.php?mo...e=infogroup-23

Using this you can control the mac mini using a wiiremote via bluetooth!

edit: If you hack in a wii sensor bar to your screen/dash (or 2 IR emitters either side of the screen) it will also act as a mouse/pointer. Cool!
