RoadNav

RoadNav has been constantly freezing on me for some reason lately. A good example is when I try and change the preferences. The beach ball just spins forever and when I try and force quit the roadnav screen goes away but it stays in the dock and is still running somehow; I try to delete it and it says its still running. I try and repeatedly force quit but it doesn't do anything, I try and restart and it just gets stuck in the process and I have to end up holding down the power button. Any one have similar problems, suggestions?

Also, I've tried kill, killall etc in terminal and that doesn't do anything either.

Try deleting the prefs file (.plist in Library->Preferences), maybe it has gotten corrupted.

I have also done that multiple times, and I tried repairing disk permissions; same results.

it seems like its every time I change something in preferences. It hasn't always done this either, when I first downloaded and installed it it was fine, then it started doing this for some reason.

no i didnt try that, but it didnt use to do it is all. I've tried both .20alpha and the stable .19, they both do it now and never did before. I tried reseting the pram and nvram so I will see if it did anything.

I wonder if some of your maps aren't corrupted. Maybe try to find any traces of the program, delete them, then reload it?
