Does it have windows support? I cant find this mentioned anywhere on Griffin website.

Since I already have a firewire port on the motherboard, it this supports Windows, it might be a good buy.

How are these compared to USB DAC's? I'm not even asking whether it is comparable to high quality USB DACs like Bloat, but the idea is to know where this stand in the Sound Quality department.

There is not a single real review of this device.

Not a single online documentation of how it works.

All I can ever find on it is that it has no way to remember settings (whatever those may be) when you sleep/wake. Which makes it useless in the car IMO.

At home, seems a sweet deal for the right setup.

If you are gonna use this in your car, please give us a good review.

No direct volume controls. No fading or balance.

There is just nothing I see anymore beneficial to this in the car. Maybe someone sees something i dont?

Good reviews (mostly) on Amazon.com. I'm picking this up for my home media Mac mini.

Edit - Hey -- free ground shipping!

If I currently have an amp, couldnt I just run the head phone out of the mini into a 2 Channel RCA split and plug that into a RF 3sixty or a JL Audio Cleansweep and get the same results?
PS the RF 3sixty has a 2 channel AUX input.

No. The Firewave is 5.1. Your suggestion is simply dual stereo.
