mac/gps questions

I am looking to set up my ibook with gps stuff for a road trip coming up. I am going with Route 66 Route 2004 (mac) (no virtual PC), and am in need of a gps receiver. Does anyone know if those units on ebay would work (reliably/at all?) with os x? Or could someone recomend me a receiver under 100 bucks tha they know works with os x? Thanks.
