Exclamation New Idea

I followed a couple leads to TitanTalk.com on OEM Navigation Bezels and here is what I've come up with. The Infiniti QX56 has the same dash board as the Titan and Armada (pic below). It looks like all I would need to do is change out the surrounding bezel that covers the vents and goes up into the middle of the dash. I could leave the radio face plate alone. I like the Infiniti one better because it looks like it set the monitor up more and would accomodate my 8" lilliput better. I also like the leather covered arm rest Wish they put those in the Titan.

Update!

I've installed the Mac Mini, external 250g HD, and USB port router. I still have to install the monitor and XM units. But I set it all up in the house first and it worked greate. Here are some pics.

Here is the console "bucket". I comes out by itself and is huge.

Here is the "bucket" with the brackets I made and the case fan I installed.

Here is the unit just before I put it back in the truck.

very nice. Good idea on the fan. How are you powering that? also what's the black thing at the "top" of the bucket? above the mini. Using an inverter for all of this as well?

Keep up the good work

Michael

The black thing is the hinge for the console lid. I'm using a power inverter for now but I would like to get the Carnetix CNX-1900. I'll power the fan off of the 12v supply to the inverter. I have the inverter wired to a switch in the dash. I don't plan on running this thing all the time just on longer trips.
