Touch Screen Software

I know the DWW-700M hasn't come out yet and there isn't a lot to be known about it but that's currently the screen I'm planning for with my Mac Mini install (if the screen ever comes) and I was wondering what you guys think the probability that there will be OSX software for it. Have people had any troubles with touchscreen software on other models such as the Lilliput or the Xenarc? Just wondering what I'm in for if I go the Mac/Touchscreen route. Thanks.

I have a 7" Xenarc TS, and the software is alright. Not perfect, but not bad. I had an issue when I left the screen plugged into the mains for several days and the software stopped recognising it and it didn't work. Plus, every time you unplugged the USB cord or switched the screen off the computer froze. I unplugged the screen from power and now it works fine. I unplug it every night (like you would in a car - completely cut the power) and it's fine now.

Problems with Calibration

Just got my Xenarc 700TSV, tried the original software from Xenarc's website, and also downloaded the software from egalax.com and I cannot get the screen
to calibrate.

HELP!?

Yeah, the TS freezes my Mac every once in a while...

is that a driver problem or hardware related?

Will changing my USB hub help?

I'm going to say that it's most likely software. I have a Xenarc plugged into a USB hub with Windows, and I've never had a problem

Yup, it's definitely a software issue. I was considering lobbying whoever writes it to update the driver, but it's years old and I doubt they'd do it.

To calibrate the screen, you need to hold your finger down on the calibration points for quite a while until the Mac beeps and the point moves to another location. Keep doing this until it stops.
