Very cool. How do you go about hacking the UI for a program like that? I'm using 10.3 panther.

I right click on radioSHARK and select
SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS
then I open
CONTENTS->RESOURCES->ENGLISH.LPROJ
and rearrange SVELTE WINDOW
then
CONTENTS->RESOURCES
and I resize most of the icon.
More works need to be done but for now, I am happy.
I also change
CONTENTS->RESOURCES->ENGLISH.LPROJ->MAINMENU.NIB
to include my name ;-)

Thank you ;-)
That was the easy part, now the real work start.
I was not able to zoom everything, I hope you have more patience and talent that me.
It would be nice to find somebody with photoshop expertise to create new nice button because some of them don't look too good once zoomed.

Didn't take time to make it pretty but MUCH easier to use on the Xenarc 7". The trick is you need to download XCode 1.5 if using Panther. If you have Tiger then a newer version of XCode is supposed to be on the CD. Or just download it from Apple. You have to register with the Apple Developer Connection but that's free. Once that's installed, you can open the resource files as Franco describes, and tweak the interface (move stuff around, delete buttons, etc), and use an image editor like photoshop to mess with the images used as buttons. I just resized them bigger. Fun stuff! Surely not all apps make their interfaces tweakable like this??

I started with the beta version of radioSHARK, but FastMatt result is a lot cleaner.
I just realize tonight that there is a new version 2.0 of radioSHARK. It came out September-06. I do not not have to work with Beta anymore.
Viper24 know photoshop, Good ;-)
If you decide to work with the new radioSHARK, it would be nice if you could send me your new Button to replace my bad looking one...

i was on one of the computers at school testing out this "show package contents" feature, and I re-did all of the buttons in the DVD player so when you click them, it says my name. And on the up down left right arrows I scrambled them... im having a blast giving programs a new face...

Not to be a pain but can one of you guys that has modded the antenna do a FAQ on style post listing the steps (which I know are above) but with a picture before and after or at least after with some arrows?
thanks

Interface builder is the program you use. It's part of the developer's tools.
