HELP!!! Mini doesn't sleep

I'm a newbie and really don't know much about computers. I had a local audio installer install all of my stuff. But I told him what to do from threads in this forum. I'm using the p1900 to power the mini but when I turn off my car, the mini turns off completely and I have to manualy turn it back on. What can I do so it just sleeps? Thanks for your help.

Go to the preferences panel and click on the "Energy Saver" panel. You can change the behavior of the system upon pressing the button. Can't remember the exact sequence, but it's not too hard to find.

I have my sleep settings already set. My P1900 light also turns off when the car is turned off. So how do I make the p1900 always stay on? I've searched the forums and I can't figure this out.

It sounds like you don't have your P1900 set up correctly. The red wire has to be hooked up to the battery (always on) and the yellow wire to the accessory wire (that is, 12 volts is supplied when the car is on, 0 volts when the car is off).

And make sure you FUSE the red wire to the battery with a 15 amp fuse.

Brandon,

Download the P1900 Installation Manual and look at Section 2.1 Mac mini Applications.

Sounds like maybe your jumpers are not set for sleep mode.
