Audio Problems

I'm using the imic to go to my 800 watt 5 channel amp. I have sound but its just not great. I have a 10 but it doesn't hit, sound is coming out of it but it doesn't hit. Any suggestions. Is the Imic 5.1? or is that not the problem. I have my line out using the imic and volume is all the way up.

I'm a little confused about a 10 etc.. ? What you mean? Also, my system is running str8 thru without iMic and it sounds excellent.. I have 2 Amps both multichannel.. Have you tried connecting it str8?

straight, and 10 is his sub. try hooking it up with 2 channels.

Staright means directly to the Mac Audio Port - no iMic is really needed

Does it sound like it's turned down a lot when it's not? Or does it sound distorted? Is it just quiet thru the sub or are all speakers not performing? Try it without the imic.

are you sure you're plugging in your cables to the correct terminals? Also take a look at the Griffin Firewave- it's supposed to ship by the end of second quarter which for them ends in july. It allows for 5.1 surround and is powered off of the firewire bus I believe.
