anybody ever try this obd-ii software

i found this software called pyobd at http://www.donour.com/cars/pyobd/ has anyone tried this? how good are the features? does it stand up to windows versions?

I'm new to this Scanning stuff.. My car is a 95... I believe that's HYBRID, correct? Anyhow in that case what would I need...

Looks promising, but a front end coder would have to add it into the GUI to make it at least pleasing and useful.

It appears to retrieve codes and info from the OBDII port. That's about it. In theory, one could use it to retrieve info and use it in your program. Someone would have to look into it more to see if it could be used.

If Applescript could use it to access the OBDII data, you'd have a way to work with it.
