Is this project still in active development? Is it compatible with Leopard or Front Row 2.0?

No, and according to a few posts back in this thread it doesn't appear to work with 10.5.

So I'm guessing there is no mod/hack for Front Row 2.0 to at least enable mouse support?

Since you can control FR from the keyboard, you should be able to get something like the PowerMate to control it for you since it will send any key you want it to.

if the powermate works well in frontrow, I think I'll get one. Plus i guess it can be made to work in all the FE's. Even NeonBoomBox is doing keymappings now... I'd love the 3DConnexion Space Navigator but it's just way to expensive for me right now, I'm doing my car mac on a budget

Yeah I definitely like the concept of having the ability to scroll through my artists/songs with the powermate. I'm just not sure where I'd mount the thing. I don't want to do any cutting or modding of my center console and dash, but I want it to be easily accessible between me and my passenger and hide the wires as well. Hmmm...

Powermate does not work in Leopard's Front Row without the use of Griffin's Proxi software and a custom configuration to control software.
Well - I should say it works but you cannot map the Escape key to any function with the regular Powermate software. There's not other way to go back in the Front Row menus without the escape key. Proxi does the trick nicely though.

it only works with 10.4. if you have it, then i am sure that someone can email it to you. I used to have it, but i deleted it since i upgraded to leopard.

I tried this the other day, and frankly, it takes way too much to navigate through the options. AMP is much better, imo...

I would like to use Frontrow 2.0 under Leopard for a Touchscreen HTPC.
Infact I mounted a MacMini and a 17" touchscreen into a cabinet. Now I like to control frontrow using the touchscreen.
Is anybody capable of releasing ffremote in leopard an fr2 compatible version?
I would even pay for it!
And if possible it would be great if I could alter the size and position of the controls .. perhaps even interchange the picture with the controls in it.

Last time the developer posted on here was April of last year. The sourceforge project link contains no files.
Try using a Wiimote instead. They supposedly work will with FR.
