Xenarc 700TSV and the Intel Mac Mini

Maybe you guys can help me...

I just got my new Dual Core Mac Mini hooked up to a 700TSV. Upon downloading the drivers for OSX I can't get the monitor to show up in the list of the TouchKit application. I can't imagine that the Intel Mac Mini would have changed much in terms of how these drivers work. Anyone have anyideas? Is there a way to trouble shoot these to make the touch screen work. The picture is wonderful I just can't get the touch screen function to work.

Wow - hopefully this issue is addressed - I was hoping to pick up a single core mac mini but I'll be damned if I don't get touchscreen functions.. =\. We should all be seeking a solution to this... have you contacted Xenarc yet?

I think you'll be screwed until they release Intel compatible drivers.

Yes they told me that they were going to look into it. Please if some others can help out and contact them to so that I am not the only one.

Drivers for my car Mac Mini (Intel) were released last Friday. I have not tested them (tonight when I get back to my car) but I have downloaded them. They can be found here:

TnT_xB, which screen do you have? I'm guessing these are the drivers by the company who makes the touch panel itself, not end companies like Xenarc etc... How did you go? If there is a screen that works with intel based macs, i want to know before i buy a screen and mini!

Any Xenarc Screen will work now with the TouchKit drivers from eGalax. eGalax is the only company that makes drivers for the Xenarc screens.

My girl and I both have Intel-based Mac Mini computers in our cars with Xenarc 700TR displays. They are now working great! I will probably do a write up on our current setups but I still have to put her car back together tonight...
