External sound: firewave audigy creative

I got the firewave firewire sound card from griffin about a month ago and I have a few questions. 1stly, how is everyone using an external sound card, if it be 5.1 or 7.1? Because an ideal 5.1 setup includes, 2 front speakers, 2 right speakers, 1 subwoofer, and 1 center speaker (plus 2 mid speakers for 7.1). However cars have 2 front and 2 rear; and maybe 2 tweeters (NOT 1 center) and 2 subwoofers. My question is basically what settings on audio midi is everyone using to get the cleanest and most directed sound? Because tweeters are designed to accept only Highs, where center speakers are designed to accept vocal noises. My setup right now seems like I'm getting most of my music/vocal through my tweeters which is very bad. My audio midi setting is on hexagonal. Any suggestions? And how happy is everyone with their external cards?

The new Tundra (MY07) has a center channel speaker

Only reason I know? I've been working on it for the last year.

hmm interesting question. I wanted to know kind of the same thing. I was only going to have a 4.1 setup but I wanted to use 5.1 from the firewave. Is there anyway I can get sound that would normally play through the center speaker to the 2 front? lol stupid question. Does the firewave have a setup for 4.1? because i guess that would solve my problem lol.
