CarNetix Site Down - Sorry

Due to some boneheaded site admin, the wonderful folks at www.lowesthosting.com have DELETED our website and support forum! My apologies for the inconvenience to our customers. Please contact me with product or support issues at mihooper@bellsouth.net until we have things sorted out.

Crikey, I assume it can be restored from backups ?

Human error is a small risk we have to live with....despite potentially rigourous change control and operational procedures...just look at the amount of plane crashes attributed to pilot error...now they have a checklist to sneeze...

Hope this does not cause you guys too much aggravation.

So long as we can still buy the products, I can view the site exept the P1900 page, bummer as I plan to buy one... But I suppose this wont affect sales via your partners?

Unfortunately we lost everything since mid March.

I learned two valuable lessons:
1) backup regularly
2) NEVER USE LOWESTHOSTING.COM as your webhost. They deleted our entire forum, website, and all emails BEFORE CONTACTING US. Apparently someone had hacked an AOL phishing folder onto our site, so they delted it. And had the nerve to charge us a $19 "administrative fee" for vilolating their terms of use agreement!!

Never again!

I use aplus.net for hosting www.stixguru.com. They are great and priced fairly.
