ARTICLE: Apple: Avoid death -- integrate iPod with your car

The writer also pitched his own design ideas to Apple's director of global product marketing, Bob Borchers: "We suggested to Borchers that Apple should allow drivers to use their car steering wheel as a giant Clickwheel interface, so that you can change tracks by changing lanes. Borchers foresaw certain safety problems with such a device and rejected the concept."

Glad to hear that apple is taking notice :-)

I love the joke at the end about the steering wheel

That's awesome they look at this stuff. I wonder if Apple knows about this forum? (And I hope I don't get sued over ripping off FrontRow's look!) ... (off to check my email for legal notices)

Fixed your post

I saw this on Digg yesterday. Those fools took the steering wheel joke way too seriously. The way some people drive around here, i'd swear they do have their iPod hooked up that way
