route 66 2001-2002

Hi all

Im running a mac mini (ppc) OS 10.4.7 and have route 66 2001-2002(x).Gps is BU-353 and supports NMEA 0183 on a usb.
The gps is getting a signal as the light is flashing but route 66 is saying "communication has not been initialised".
Route 66 website support is giving no help.

Anyone know if this should or does work and if so how?

many thanks

Use something like GPS utility to check an ensure that the GPS is working properly. If it is, then the problem will be with your settings in Route 66

thanks bugbyte
GPS utility is saying I have 11 connections so should be good as i expected. It is more the "communication has not been initialised" that is the concern. I can find anything to shed light on this.
This was the responce from route 66 support "No test related to the hardware and software versions you own were performed, therefore we can not provide you with information."

Just sorted it.

Im out tomorrow afternoon driving so will be able to test this.
