Connect vga touch screen and 2 headrest screens???

OK.. I have a Intel Mac Mini, I am using the included DVI to VGA adapter to connect to my 7" in dash touch screen, but I bought 2 headrest 8" monitors that are RCA only.. Only adapters I have seen are VGA to RCA/Svideo.. I need a VGA to VGA/RCA or a DVI to RCA/VGA... Or I guess I could use a:

DVI to VGA,then VGA to DUAL VGA, then VGA to SVIDEO/RCA, then RCA to DUAL RCA...

All that sounds like I need some kind of amp for the signal..

So, anyone have any ideas?? 4 adapters to just do DVI to VGA/RCA sucks...

Two solutions...
-if you can afford the loss of the VGA (and it's quality) on the touch screen you ca buy an DVI-Videocomposite adapter (from Apple) and a videocomposite amplifier/distributor.

Like the AudioVox VA 100 at 35-45 US $

- Or maybe you can find an amplifier/distributor tha accepts VGA signal and repeats it to a VGA and vicomposite signals...

This could be very difficult to find....

Okay I had this issue earlier. I previously used the Apple DVI to S-video/RCA video adapter and ran that to an amplified video distributor. From there I ran RCA video to a 7 inch monitor, 2.5" monitor on the deck, and to the Xenarc 10.2". The biggest problem was sacrificing high-resolution VGA for being able to produce video on all monitors. When you are used to 800x600 then use TV resolution of 720x480, things don't look so great, namely text. After wanting to use the Xenarc as a VGA connection I switched it back. Now to power the other screens, use the Apple DVI to VGA adapter. Then from that a VGA splitter, or an amplified VGA splitter. One VGA goes to your touchscreen. The other VGA goes to a TV scan converter which will need to be powered and this will give you RCA output capable of being displayed properly on tv type monitors. Then take that RCA video stream from the scan converter and run that into a amplified video splitter and add as many tv type monitors as you want from there. Hopefully that is not too confusing.

I would have to agree with zxbyd. Get a scan converter, it's your best bet and they are cheap now. I just bought a Grandtec GXP2000 one from Ebay for 25 bucks and it's USB or PS2 powered.

psedog...
it seems the definitive solution for distributing frontrow and video from my mac to a secondary video monitor... (no touch, no vga: a simple portable screen with TV Tuner)
I'll buy one and check how it works

thanks

Hopefully I'll have mine hooked up by the end of the month. I'm waiting on the P1900 power supply for my mini mac. I have a 7" touchscreen kit for the center console(G35 700tsv), soon 2 screens for the headrests, 1200Wrms sub amp, 1 or 2 12" 13o v.2 eD subs (depends on if I get the ballz to fiberglass 2 sub boxes or not) and a 6.5" component speaker set. I'll post once I have everything done, or at least most of it.
