Soundblaster Live

Is anyone using the Soundblast Live External USB sound card from creative? I am told that it can be used with OSX, it shows up in my system prefs, I can select it, but no aduio goes to my amp. Anyone have any ideas or know where i can get the drivers? Creatives site says that the product has been discontinued, but I just bought it from CompUSA today.

From what I know is that Creative's SoundBlaster products haven't work in OS X since 10.1.5. I do have how ever a beta driver set for that SoundBlaster but i'm not sure if it will work. If you want to try it let me know.

I emailed soundblaster and they told me that it would not work so I returned it. It would show up in my system prefs, but I could not get any sound to go out to my amps. Ill just stick with the Firewave since its about the same cost.

It tried this a few months back, did not work. Ended up using it on my home PC.

Do you have your Firewave yet? Do you know if it supports timing control?

no i do not have it yet, but i know that it will work with my set up.
