Destinator freezing when you approach a speed camera?
If destinator is locking up / CPU hitting the roof whenever you approach a speed camera read below, I've recently had time to test this bug and I think I've got the answer...
It is most likely because you have imported all the speed cameras into destinator (using the frontends own import tool) and also have "Add / Display new cameras on the map" enabled (Under Advanced GPS settings).
When you approach a camera, the frontend will check whether it already exists in the favorites and if not - add it. The SDK is really slow at reading through this information and so if you have thousands of entries you're going to have problems...
If you have imported all the cameras into destinator then I recommend that you disable "Add/Display New Cameras on the map". It won't stop them appearing, because they've all been added manually anyway.

I've installed the new beta, and hotfix and still have the freezing problem when I approach a speed camera.
I've looked for the function "Add/Display New Cameras on the map" in the configuration, but can't find it.
is there any other way to solve this problem?

It's the very last option on the Adv GPS tab.
It may be called something slightly different in the newest version, but it's something about displaying/adding cameras to the map

Also note that is is fixed in the final version, whether your cameras are imported or not

sow the problem is that you may not display the camera at the screen.
ok when this fixes the problem I will uncheck the "display speed camera's" (or something like that).

I have to reset the PC and thats not cool when your on the road because that would be impossible! Any ideas NM? i PMed u about this and i updated to the new version and i still have that issue. I am not overheating my pc and everything else works fine on my pc. I turned off the speed cameras too in the configuration.
