Destinator 3 FrontEnd Keyboard Shortcuts?

Hey, first time poster here!

Firstly i have to say, Ninja Monkey you have done a great job with this software, thank you for sharing it.

I was wondering if there are any keyboard shortcuts available to set up or use in the frontend because i am planning to use a remote for my carPC rather than a touch screen (already installed my monitor in my dash and i'm NOT doing that again )

if not i guess i'll get a mini keypad and a touch mouse and install that somewhere.

Thanks

There sure is! There isn't a GUI for configuring them at the moment, but it's pretty straight forward. Take a look at Hotkeys.ini inside the Frontend_PREV folder

One more thing, is it possible to use keyboard shortcuts like <up> <down> <left> <right> to select characters on the virtual keyboard (i.e for address input) my remote doesn't have enough buttons to assign 1 for each a-z.

Depending on the software you are using for your remote, you can assign keys to buttons like on your mobile phone (e.g. button 2 cycles thru A, B, C and 2 etc).

Thats how I've done it anyway!!!

I am using a program called Girder (www.promixis.com), but there are freeware programs available (one is available from www.irassistant.com).

NM: Is it possible to configure the zoom range?

I'm planning to use a remote to zoom in and out on the map. I can map a keystroke to the zoom in and out by editting the .ini file, only when pressing it, it zooms in and out in rather huge steps. Is it possible to get "smaller steps", and, if system is fast enough, even smooth zoom?

(Pressing + or - on the screen gives a nice zoom in- or out, pressing the hotkeys gives a huge step). Any chance to just hookup the hotkey to the + or - button?
