There's nothing to stop you using a previous DLL, but I'm not advising that.

Well, I was just testing that

Anyway, Mapmonkey is now exactly build using the SDK, so the rest is up to the users and/or powerlock, NM didn't modify anything...

That's no problem. Do you I have to change a bunch or registry settings as well though? I'm not sure exactly what your install process does.

Nope, only things it creates outside of C:\DestinatorApps are start menu shortcuts

I just downloaded 16 mb full install map monkey backed up but then deleted my old apps clicked on map monkey it and says a higher version of map monkey is installed.

I did the same thing at first and was just getting mad when I remembered the uninstaller

I renamed it, then ran the installer, got the messsage, ran the uninstaller, ran the installer.

If we buy the $50 SDK from Destinator, does the map restriction and 'Demo' message go away?

Just sent this to Destinator... (third similar email in last few weeks, this one is more specific)

"Hello,

I am a licensed user of Destinator 3 (can supply key if required)

I would like to be able to use this software: http://www.mapmonkey.net/ which is based on Destinator and need a proper non-demo SDK to use the full size maps I have purchased to use with this. I would also like to make my own software to help drive PC sales for this product.

I emailed last week but have had no reply, please could someone get in touch ASAP. I know that it is possible to simply hex edit a ‘demo’ SDK to get the product I have PAID for to work but would much rather have the proper SDK to use.

Also I am unable to activate my product to get my device ID to register for the Destinator community.

I bought D3 UK version and was using your version 1.1.2. If I want to use the final version 1.1.3 what exactly do I need to do. (Officially) I have downloaded it already.

I changed the dest dll on 1.1.3, replaced it with the one from 1.1.2 without any problems.

This got rid of the message on screen regarding the SDK.

How I installed the 1.1.3 was that I removed old destinator apps folder from c drive then installed the new one.

Is this the correct way?

Can you please put me right.
