Going from Beta3 to realease of 1.1.3

Problem? Or just sats not locked?
I just uninstalled Beta3 adn deleted C:\destinatorapps (backed up maps and .dll) and installed map monkey. This pops up every 5 seconds or so, I'm inside on the laptop so my GPS isnt locked (barely seeing 1 sat) and its snowing outside so im not gonna go out and stand there with the laptop.....

Is this a common thing since the program has No idea where it is on the map or do i have a problem with install? It does this with and withough Adv GPS checked and before and after maps added

Yep, it's because you aren't seeing any satellites, it shouldn't happen with advanced gps off though

Can't believe I missed this! Going to have to release a fix now!

Hi

I'm also getting this error.

The messages goes away if I don't use 'Advanced GPS'. Enable that option, and the error box keeps popping up.

Should sort both the satellite problem (though untested) and the error when closing Map Monkey via the 'X'

NM... sorry for the PM i sent ya, i didnt see your latest thread about PM's.... here ya go... if i use a big map (all of western US), it shows incorrect GPS info. It thinks im somewhere completely different, not to mention it always says that i have "0" satellites acquired all the time. I set the correct COM port and 4800. Any ideas? I can now confirm that its doing that for all the maps i use, even smaller maps. It doesnt show me where i am correctly. (random location)

i always have 8-10 satellites in my drive way.... very strange... i dunno why it wont see anything now...

now it seems like im gettin half as many satellites than i did b4 even when reverting back to 1.1.3B3... very weird.... hmmm

New Issue with Frodoplayer 1.09 Take 3:

Any idea why the artist - track isnt showing up from frodoplayer? hmmmm, the window bar of mapmonkey is taking over and i cant see the frodoplayer bar on the top... it seems as though the embedded feature isnt working the same in terms of window focus anymore.... hmmmm

Rather than start a new thread...

Next Problem:
MM opens as a new window in Frodoplayer, and is 800x600 vs my 1200x720 (laptop widescreen.....)

try re-downloading the zip I posted and try again...using "Map Monkey - [GPS]" as the window title
