Map Monkey Launchers (Fixes for Frodoplayer, Centrafuse, Mediacar...)

Here are a couple of launcher applications to help the problems with using Map Monkey in certain front ends.

FrodoPlayer/MediaCar Frontend Launcher

This launcher has been mainly created to work with frodoplayer, but can be adapted to work in any environment. You can customise the launchers window title and the frontend application to search for (e.g. Frodoplayer, if frodo is found to be no longer running the launcher will close Map Monkey).

Mediacar users don't have to worry about closing map monkey before closing mediacar, the launcher will sort this all out for you.

To Configure

Frodoplayer users:
Don't need to do anything. The default window title is "Destinator 3 - [Dest3.1]" and the default application search is "frodoplayer.exe"

Mediacar etc users:
You need to run the launcher first to create a "mml.conf" file. Open this up in notepad and change the 2nd line to the name of the applications EXE file

Make sure you tell your frontend to run the Launcher as your GPS application rather than Map Monkey directly.

Edit: Also, make sure "Enable Plugin Support" is enabled in Map Monkey configuration

The file mml.conf modified for use whit MC and MapMonkeyLauncher in which folderi i must have put?

In practice to thing it serves (only if they are had some problems when he launches MC or and to use all of us)?

Excuse me but I have not understood well, MC work correctly to me whit MM....

Whatever search string you want! You set the window title on the first line of mml.conf....also, you want to change the exe name in mml.conf to "MEDIACAR.EXE" not mapmonkey.exe!!

Using the CFD3Launcher.exe for Centrafuse I got the error:

Run-time error '13':
Type mismatch

NM, thanks for your continuing hard-work, great stuff!

How does this launcher work with Frodo? Do I call the launcher exe instead of the original map-monkey one? Also, what does this correct? I was hoping this would address the “Title-Bar” issue embedding it with Frodo, but it’s still there…

Any feedback you can provide would be appreciated…

Got it working now.
But when I exit MM with the X I get a MMLauncher Run-time error' - 1934 (fffff872)': Map Monkey not found or not listening.
This is behind the Mediacar Frontend.

I don't quite understand how to use it with Frodo. Could someone please explain it to me

? Also which of the two exes to use (I guess "MapMonkeyLauncher.exe") ?
