Installer Corrupt?

I downloaded MM today from mirror 1. When I attempted to install it on Windows XP SP 2 I received an error about it not being a valid installation file. I tried again from mirror 2. I tried again from a version I had previously downloaded and stored on CD. The same installers all work on my laptop, just not on my carputer. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing such an error? I'm stumped.

Thanks,
Craig

Nope. It is a 100% fresh pure Windows XP install. It has drivers for the an FTDI GPS, Xenarc touch screen (serial), and D-link FM radio. It has RR, Freedrive, and Topo! installed.
