Feature Request: Matroska Support

Hi,

What you gys think about support for matroska files under ME2??

This kind of files have many features, like menus, subtitles and many audio streams..

Have you tried to make ME play the files yet? Generaly, If you can make WMP9 play the files, ME will play them too. Just add the filetype to the list of valid extensions in the setup menu. That should allow you to play them.

You probably aren't going to get full support for it in ME. It's a lot of work to code in support for unusual formats that may or may not go anywhere. If it ends up that this wrapper is the next big thing since AVI then you'll end up getting your support. If it fails, then your SOL.

Its possible to play it using WMP9, but like you said there are many features unavailble.
