How to setup gps button in menu

I'm trying to create a skin for myself to use in my car.
The problem is that I want to add some menu items:
GPS which selects the gps software
Games which goes to a menu structure or something
Where in there are items:
Snes emu
and a link to an external program for uploading GBA games to my cartridge.
I would also like to have a menu item which opens navigation software instead of GPS. I don't know if the gps software is capable of streets in a city. If yes, I don't need this software otherwise I would like to have it. My guess actually is that it can. Going to use Route 66 for GPS.

The reason I ask this is because I cannot find it these menuitems in the skinbuilder anywhere.

It would be nice to be able to set up menu items at the first screen for "external applications" without going to the external application menu.

Hope you guys can help, because this program is really good.

I've never tried making a skin, but I don't think it's possible to add buttons in the main menu. You just have to go to external apps for now. It would be a good functionality to have though, and I think GPS will be added for the next version (only for MapPoint 2004 I believe). As for the games you will probably just have to go to external apps for that, unless they add a way to add your own buttons to the main menu.

Yeah, that is certainly a good idea for them to add.
An option that you can asign buttons to specific external applications.
Not just a button for all the external applications.

I'm going to send them a request for it, or hopefully they see it here.
