i´m from Germany and i saw in a Car tuning magazin something about a programm for car-computer. After using google i found this site.

What could you advise me? I search for a computer and a good programm for it. But i dont want to use Windows. What does a system like this cost?

Im sorry for english. i learnd it in school.

it depends on what you want(TV, internet?) and which hardware the software support that you want to run.
mostely used hardware:
Via Epia m10000
256MB/512MB
40~120Gb HD(3.5inch)or compact Flash card(512MB~2GB)
lilliput 7"inch touchscreen
Globsat BU-303 (GPS)

What could you advise me?
Try some software en check which software you like and which hardware is supported by it.
read the forums check sites from users arround here to get some ideas

Warning: it`s not like you can buy the stuff and it all works fine its more like an hobby with the problems
