I get the same thing, probably 75% of the time. If i go to the setup screen, and exit from there, it works 100% of the time. I don't remember it ever being like this before, i think it started around 2.3.4, maybe 2.3.3. haven't tried 2.3.5 yet to see if that changes anything.

Do either of you use an XM receiver?

Ok, just checking - there was an issue with xm hanging up the shutdown process that should be resolved in 2.3.5, but that doesn't sound like what you're seeing.
The exit process is something of a cluster***k, the result of years of poorly implemented programming. Up until 2.3.5 there was in use the end-all be-all of things not to do in a visual basic app, the "End" statement. I figured this was causing the app to terminate short of saving the song position if music is playing, but that wasn't it either. I'd like to think I'll live long enough to someday rewrite ME and excise all the lazy code, but alas I'm already in my thirties...

I just installed 2.3.5, found out the track time doesn't show, and iGuidance doesn't integrate properly, so I reinstalled 2.3.3. 2.3.4 didn't work out either, same thing, if I remember right, it's been awhile since I tried 2.3.4. Anyways, the exit on 2.3.3 seems to be working. I've only tried a couple of time though since I just reinstalled it last night. Not too worried about it though, since I rarelly exit the app.
